In 2026 Fremantle Press will celebrate 50 years of being a powerhouse in Australian independent publishing. The Press has published more than 1000 unique titles for two million readers and launched the careers of over 700 writers and artists, many who have become household names. Our titles have been translated into foreign languages, become audio books and ebooks, been adapted for stage productions, feature films and television series.

Fremantle Press is not only essential to the cultural landscape of Western Australia, but it is truly the greatest exporter of our stories.

Proudly not for profit, we’re seeking partners to join our Champions of Literature – people willing to help us grow our legacy into a sustainable future.

Your ongoing investment of $1000 or more annually or $85 monthly will help us expand the number of stories we tell, increase the number of authors we support each year, train more publishing professionals, secure long-term premises and be more accessible to our community.
