Cathedral Square: The Historic Heart of Perth

The Cathedral Square precinct commissioned Fremantle Press to create a book telling the stories of its rich history, leading up to its present state. The book was written by David Whish-Wilson, in collaboration with the precinct partners (the Government of Western Australia, the Perth Diocesan Trustees, the Public Trustee, the City of Perth, Mirvac, Keppel REIT, the State Buildings and COMO The Treasury) and features old and new photographs of the precinct’s architecture.

‘The publication of this book marks the culmination of a process begun more than a decade ago, aimed at uniting the amenity and function of a defined inner-city zone whose significance to the history of Western Australia cannot be overstated.’ — Adrian Fini
