Sydney Writers Festival was held on the last week of May and with it the Visiting International Publishers (VIP) program, which I attended at the invitation of the Australia Council for the Arts to pitch our books to publishers from around the world. The VIP is an annual event and a great opportunity for local publishers who can’t always attend the international book fairs to have international agents and publishers come to us.

Fremantle Press at Perth Writers Festival 2017

The 2017 PIAF Perth Writers Festival is almost at our doorstep and we are counting down the days! Running on 23–26 February, the festival celebrates the world of literature and the creative talents of writers and artists. The program offers a smorgasbord of workshops, seminars, panel discussions, family activities and free events. The festival is also a wonderful opportunity for you to meet Fremantle Press authors, whose books will be available at the festival bookshop.
