Wendy Jenkins is a fourth-generation Fremantle resident and couldn't live anywhere else for very long. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies and her published books include two collections of poetry and four novels for younger readers.
Wendy, now three-quarters retired, is a long-time editor for Fremantle Press. Books she has edited have won numerous awards including the Miles Franklin and the Commonwealth Poetry Prize.
