Alan Carter in NZ

May 11, 2017

Murder in the library or murder in a bookshop? If you’re a New Zealander – the choice is yours. Alan Carter will be launching his new book Marlborough Man at Volume on Wednesday 31 May. A day later, he’ll be at the Elma Turner Library with fellow crime writers Fiona Sussman and David Briggs as host Karen Stade cross-examines them on how they blend page-turning crime plots with fascinating characters and real-life themes.

Alan Carter won a Ned Kelly Award for his debut crime novel, Prime Cut, starring an Asian-Australian detective in Perth. His latest novel, Marlborough Man, is a mystery set in the Top of the South.

The launch of Marlborough Man is on Wednesday 31 May at 6 pm and is hosted by Volume, 15 Church Street, Nelson. More information: https://www.facebook.com/events/444730032531917/
