Fremantle Press at 2016 AWESOME Festival

August 22, 2016

The 2016 AWESOME Festival is almost here and we are counting down the days! Running throughout the October school holidays, the festival celebrates the world of literature and arts. The program offers a vast array of workshops, seminars, panel discussions, family activities and free events. It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet Fremantle Press authors.

Brobot Book Launch

Join us at the State Library of Western Australia as we host a special book launch just for kids (and their grown-ups!). Meet author James Foley for a reading and Q&A session about his latest book, Brobot. The book’s main character, Sally Tinker of S. Tinker Inc., is the world’s foremost inventor under the age of twelve. She just knows she can build a better brother than the messy, smelly version she has. Her invention – Brobot – is fantastic, that is until the remote gets broken and Brobot careens out of control.

3.30 pm Friday 7 October (all ages)
