Fremantle Press is pleased to announce that titles in the Waarda series for young readers are now available to purchase as ebooks.
Waarda, Nyungar for talking and sharing stories and information, is an exciting children’s series by Indigenous authors. Described as ‘fun, interesting and diverse’, Waarda is a collection of colourful and exciting books for readers aged five to eight.
Launched in 2009, the series was initiated by renowned Aboriginal artist and writer Sally Morgan, and was designed to support the literacy needs of Indigenous children in primary school. At the same time, it introduces non-Indigenous children to the richness and depth of Aboriginal storytelling.
To celebrate the titles becoming available as ebooks, Fremantle Press is offering readers the opportunity to purchase the entire Waarda print series for half price.
Purchase any Waarda ebook from your usual distributor and send your proof of purchase to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive all nine print books for $45.00, including postage.
