New Western Australian book club - Book clubs

New Western Australian book club

August 26, 2016

Westbooks and the State Library of Western Australia are joining forces to host a new book club focusing on Western Australian authors and stories. We’re excited to announce that Walpole-based author Sarah Drummond will be in Perth for the first session to discuss her latest book, The Sound.

The event will begin with a short FREE presentation by Sarah Drummond, which anyone is welcome to attend. This taster will take place at 5.30 pm on Thursday 15 September on the ground floor of the library, behind the Library and Museum Shop.

For those left wanting more, the book club will move to the Geographe Room, where Sarah will be interviewed by Westbooks adult fiction specialist Emily Paull and where light refreshments will be served. Tickets for the book club cost $27.99 and include a copy of The Sound. A selection of new Western Australian books will be available at the Westbooks pop-up store in the Geographe Room.

Tickets can be reserved on the booking page or by contacting Emily Paull on (08) 9361 4211 or emily@westbooks.com.au.

Proudly supported by Westbooks and the State Library of Western Australia.
