Bernard Cohen
Born in 1963, Bernard Cohen’s stories and articles have appeared in newspapers, magazines and literary journals in Australia, New Zealand, the US and France, and he’s also produced radio work. He has published four novels for adults, and his most recent book is the children’s picture book text, Paul Needs Specs, illustrated by Geoff Kelly and published by Penguin in 2003.
Bernard won the Australian/Vogel Award in 1996 for The Blindman’s Hat, was named as one of the Sydney Morning Herald’s Best Young Australian Novelists in 1997, 1998 and 1999, and won a 2001 Arts Council of England Writer’s Award.
Bernard lives in Sydney, Australia.
