Mike Williams
Mike Williams was born in England in 1948 and came to Australia in 1963. He has had a variety of occupations and is currently working in a bookshop in Perth. He lives with his partner, also a writer, her two sons, a housebound cat, and a rotund spaniel. He writes poetry and prose when the mood is upon him. Extensive bushwalks on the south coast inspire his writing and he is currently working on his next novel.

Ten Tiny Things on Wilderness Society shortlist
Ten Tiny Things author Meg McKinlay was pleasantly surprised to be shortlisted for the Wilderness Society’s 2013 Environment Award for Children’s Literature, just one day after winning a Crystal Kite award.
