Julia Lawrinson
Julia Lawrinson grew up in the outer suburbs of Perth and left school at age fifteen, but completed a PhD in writing in 2004. She has held a variety of jobs, from checkout chick to roadhouse attendant to speechwriter for the Western Australian Department of Health. Julia’s first novel, Obsession, won the 2001 Western Australian Premier’s Book Award for Young Adult Writing, and is reportedly one of the books most stolen from libraries.
