EVENT: Triffids books to be launched in Perth and Melbourne

Bar Open in Victoria and Fremantle Arts Centre in Western Australia will each host launches for Vagabond Holes: David McComb & the Triffids and Beautiful Waste: Poetry by David McComb edited by Chris Coughran and Niall Lucy.
Melbourne’s In Between Words is an evening of readings and performances featuring Sean M. Whelan, The Single Men’s Drinking Club, Kieran Carroll, the Blackeyed Susans Trio, Rob McComb, ‘Evil’ Graham Lee, Judith Lucy, Mark C. Halstead and ‘Handsome’ Steve Miller as MC. 8pm, 9 September 2009, admission is free.
The WA launch features music by Triffids members Jill Birt, Martyn Casey and Alsy Macdonald plus special guests The Morning Night. John Kinsella will read from Beautiful Waste. 6pm, 10 September 2009, admission is free.
