EVENT REMINDER: Fremantle Poetry Month launch

6th July 2010

The man behind the voice on RTRfm’s Breakfast show, Peter Barr, will MC the Fremantle Press Poetry Month Launch on 8 July 2010. Come along and you’ll go into the running to win two double passes to see Twelfth Night donated by Black Swan Theatre.

Join him as he introduces a line-up of local talent and helps celebrate the launch of three new poetry collections: Burning Bright by Caroline Caddy, The West by John Mateer and New Poets by Scott-Patrick Mitchell, Emma Rooksby and J.P. Quinton.

Wordsmiths Janet Jackson, Nandi Chinna and Wendy Jenkins will perform their poetry, before musicians Amber Fresh & Lil Leonie Lionheart, and Xave Brown serenade you for the rest of the evening.

Jam-packed with poetic goodness – don’t miss out!
