DISCOUNT: Half price tickets for Friends of Fremantle Press

17th March 2010

WAAPA Direct presents the young artists from WA’s premier arts school, the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, in the magical inner courtyard of Fremantle Arts Centre. Mention Fremantle Press when you book your place at Saturday’s performance and get your tickets for $10 each. That’s over 50% off the full price.

Defying Gravity, a WAAPA flagship ensemble, reveal percussion as a multi-layered group performance of sophisticated tones, textures and, of course, rhythm. Rhythm under the Stars is a moonlight blend of sparkling rhythms and seductive melodies, using an astonishing array of percussion instruments from around the globe. Dance music from Africa melds with the mellow sounds of the marimba and vibraphones, as special guest artist Freddy Poncin drums up a storm on his Cuban congas.

$10 Fremantle Press Tickets are now available for this Saturday’s performance.

Simply ring Fremantle Arts Centre on 9432 9555 to take advantage of this huge discount.
