Jane Fraser, CEO, Fremantle Press

Fraser appointed CEO

2nd February 2010

Non-fiction Publisher, Jane Fraser, will take up the position of CEO at Fremantle Press.

Fraser, who will continue her work as Non-fiction Publisher, will take over the role from Interim CEO, Jenny Archibald.

Chairperson of the Board, Professor Jim Wieland, said the appointment was unanimous and in line with the Board’s goal of encouraging skills development and new opportunities for Fremantle Press employees.

“Jane is ideally suited to lead the Press’ committed and talented team.

“She brings to the position highly developed skills in publishing and business development,” said Professor Wieland.

Wieland commended the work of outgoing Interim CEO, Jenny Archibald, who will continue to take an active part in the day-to-day operations of the Press as a Business Management Consultant.

Fraser, who started with the Press in 2008, said she was excited about the new challenge ahead but that it would be business as usual at the Press for all authors and artists.

“We have a fantastic range of books coming out in 2010 and 2011, which is keeping us all very busy,’ she said.
