Junior MasterChef’s Anna Gare launches debut cookbook on home turf
11th August 2011
TV foodie Anna Gare will return home for the launch of Homemade: simply delicious food at Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday 27 August 2011.
Anna is currently filming series two of Junior MasterChef but will make a flying visit to celebrate with friends, family and launch hosts Nathan, Nat and Shaun from Nova 93.7.
Anna said it was very important to her to have a launch in her home town.
“I’m a Freo girl and every dish in Homemade was cooked, photographed and eaten in Fremantle,” said Anna.
“We used to play in the courtyard at the Fremantle Arts Centre and I couldn’t think of a better venue,” she said.
Attendees will sample the family friendly party food featured in Homemade along with a glass of Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir from Thompson Estate. The general public will also get the opportunity to meet Anna herself at a book signing.
“I’m really excited about it and everybody is welcome to come – from little kids to grannies,” said Anna.
The launch of Homemade is sponsored by Thompson Estate, Nova 93.7, and Fremantle Arts Centre. It will take place from 3.30pm to 6pm on Saturday 27 August. RSVPs essential: email@example.com or 08 9430 6331.
Homemade is published by Fremantle Press and available in all good bookstores.
