IN SHORT: Picture books get television debut

Five Fremantle Press picture books will feature in story time segments on national television in 2010.

Yarramundi Kids on National Indigenous Television and Giggle and Hoot on ABC 3 have each approached Fremantle Press for the rights to read picture books in the coming year.

The books chosen to date are Miss Llewellyn-Jones by Elaine Forrestal and Moira Court, Dan’s Grandpa by Sally Morgan, and all three of Ambelin Kwaymullina’s first series of picture books – Crow and the Waterhole, Two-Hearted Numbat and Caterpillar and Butterfly.
