Philippa O'Brien
Philippa O’Brien is a West Australian artist and writer. She was educated at the University of Western Australia and Hornsey College of Art in London. She is a painter, has had a long career as a theatre designer and, in recent years, has worked in cultural planning. Her publications include a biography of Robert Juniper and many articles about Australian art. Her marble and steel artworks for the Banksia Garden stand beside Margaret Priest’s Pioneer Woman in Kings Park.
