Pat Lowe
Pat Lowe was born in England and migrated to Australia in 1972. After a few years teaching in France and East Africa, Pat studied psychology and worked in prisons for over 30 years. Pat lived in the Great Sandy Desert for several years with her long term partner, Aboriginal artist Jimmy Pike. She has written about 12 books for adults and children, most of them about desert life and natural history.
