Someone once told her that the young need constant stimulation, seek new experiences, and are driven by curiosity and enthusiasm for practically everything — and, that once you reach maturity you ‘settle down’. She knew she didn’t want that. She is a writer and editor of books for the young — and the young in spirit.

Congratulations to Sally Morgan whose book The Last Dance won the Wilderness Society’s 2013 Environment Award for Children’s Literature. Meg McKinlay and Kyle Hughes-Odgers were also shortlisted in the same category for Ten Tiny Things
