Pamela Statham-Drew lectured in economic history at the University of Western Australia for 42 years retiring as Associate Professor in 2006. She graduated with an honours degree in Economics from Monash University in Victoria and was awarded her doctorate by the University of Western Australia. She has written and edited a number of books on Australian History but is perhaps best known for her biography James Stirling: Admiral and Founding Governor of Western Australia. She married Nick Drew in 1996 and since retirement they have maintained an interest in the Battye Library, part of the State Library of WA, and the Royal WA Historical Society.

Light Horse Boy at Bologna
Fremantle Press illustrators are again set to shine at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in March 2014.
