A.J. Betts

A.J. Betts grew up in Innisfail, far north Queensland. She studied education in Brisbane, where she taught for a number of years before moving to the UK. After years of travelling, A.J. found herself in Perth and decided to finish the novel that was hounding her. ShutterSpeed was published by Fremantle Press in 2008, followed by Wavelength in 2010. A.J. has been a teacher and poet for over thirteen years. She writes when she’s not pedalling.
