Pat Jacobs
Pat Jacobs was born in Collie, Western Australia. An historian, fiction writer and reviewer, she has received awards for both history and her short fiction published in Australian journals and anthologies. Her first book, Mister Neville, a biography of A.O. Neville, was published by Fremantle Press in 1990. Her novel, Going Inland, published in 1998, won the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award for Fiction in 1991. The novel was nominated and long-listed for the 2000 Dublin Impac Award.
