Dr Juliet Flesch was awarded her PhD, on which her Fremantle Press book was based, from the University of Melbourne in 2002. Her employment history includes thirteen years at the National Library of Australia and nineteen as the foundation Principal Librarian (Collections) at the University of Melbourne Library. She is a Fellow in the School of Historical Studies at the University of Melbourne. Juliet has published widely in professional journals of history and librarianship and spoken at conferences of historians, librarians, romance writers and readers.
