William J Lines
Born and educated in Western Australia, Bill Lines travelled the world, converted a Quaker chapel in Wales into a house and farm steaded in Vermont, USA, before he started writing about people and nature in Australia. He has published six books. A book on population and a history of the Wilderness Society are forthcoming in 2008.
