Kate McCaffrey

Kate grew up in Perth’s northern suburbs. She always wanted to be a writer and dreamed of the day she’d see a novel with her name on it in a bookshop. After teaching English to kids who hated reading, she decided she would write books that those kids would want to read (or even if they didn’t want to, would at least say ‘it was s’alright’). She lives on eleven acres with her partner Jason, two daughters, two dogs, a cat, a rabbit and six chickens. She still teaches English and is constantly writing stories.
